Our designs are built to provide joy and utility for generations and our staff includes LEED accredited professionals who work constantly to improve the sustainable building practices which underlie each project. The decision to pursue LEED certification for any given building is one for each owner to consider individually, but all of our projects employ numerous LEED strategies for reducing energy use and building sustainably. We seek improvements in our specifications and designs at every opportunity, and we encourage the ongoing green education of our architects and designers through seminars and learning events. We encourage LEED training and certification of our staff through our membership in the U.S. Green Building Council. Ultimately, our practice is both practical and humanist, combining traditional values and sensibilities with a modern approach and interpretation. We believe that environmentally responsible design follows naturally from these values. |
