SHOPE RENO WHARTON opened its doors in 1981, working on small residential and light commercial projects. Through hard work, determination and a love of our craft, our work has grown to include a portfolio of houses, equestrian centers, golf clubhouses, schools, museums, and libraries. We work passionately to create buildings that are beautifully built, practical, and inspiring to all those that use them. Our work consists of identifiable architectural qualities such as proportion, scale, texture, color, and light which ultimately become the building blocks of beauty. Special care is taken to insure that our projects use energy efficiently, and utilize products and processes which are environmentally responsible. It is our hope that the buildings we create will stand for generations and weather the stylistic trends which come and go over time. The timelessness of a building's spirit is as important to us as the durability of its form. SHOPE RENO WHARTON has been the recipient of the prestigious Architectural Digest 100 Award, given to the top 100 architects and designers in the world.
